Q. HOW FAR IS AUSTIN CPR WILLING TO TRAVEL TO TEACH A CLASS?
A. Austin CPR serves Austin and the surrounding area including Cedar Park, Leander, Round Rock, Pflugerville, Georgetown, TX. However, we will travel outside this area for groups with 10 or more students. Just call us and we will answer your needs the best we can.
Q. WHAT CURRICULUM DO YOU TEACH?
A. Our instructors teach according to the guidelines from the American Heart Association (AHA) and American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI).
Q. Why should I take any of these classes?
A. .Great question, because you may be in a situation where you, your family, or someone around you needs help. If and when (which is very likely) you are confronted with a medical emergency, you want to know, with confidence, what to do
Q. Will I remember every thing in an emergency?
A. Probably not. But when you call 911, they can help, guide, and remind you what to do. You will be given notes and handouts during class that we recommend you study every few months.
Q. Which class should I take?

Q. When do I receive my card?
A. Upon completion of class and payment.
Q. How long do the classes take?
A. It depends on which class you are taking. Our classes range from two to five hours.
Q. Can I schedule more than one class at a time?
A. Yes, just let us know when we talk to each other.
Q. How long will my card be good for?
A. 2 Years: CPR, AED, First Aid, Bloodborne Pathogens Certificates
1 Year: Shaken Baby Syndrome (SBS) and Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) (Texas Requirement)
Q. What should I wear?
A. You will be on the ground when learning CPR, wear something comfortable and easy to get up and down. All other classes wear what you would like.
